I am convinced that each individual has to decide for themselves what things they need to avoid and what they can deal which in moderation. I see not need for moderation there but see the need for moderation more in how in the ways that we embrace the gray areas of life. For example, some take extreme positions on movies and beer/wine in the name of holiness while some find moderate way to experience these things.
