Old Erich Proverb - Fear

We should not fear the powers of darkness, for we serve their Conqueror.

  1. So true Mike. When I fear I am reminded that I am living out of my head and need to trust with my heart.

    1. I agree. It is so easy to see reasons to fear rather then trust when we think about our situation. It is only when we look to God we can put those in perspective.

  2. Here's a good description of the Judeo-Christian religion.

"The word God is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honorable, but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish. No interpretation, no matter how subtle, can (for me) change this.
For me the Jewish religion like all other religions is an incarnation of the most childish superstitions. And the Jewish people to whom I gladly belong and with whose mentality I have a deep affinity have no different quality for me than all other people. As far as my experience goes, they are also no better than other human groups, although they are protected from the worst cancers by a lack of power. Otherwise I cannot see anything 'chosen' about them."-Albert Einstein

Religion is mind rot. A bunch of asinine Stone Age bullshit that only the weak minded, apparently in need of comforting fairy tales, can swallow.

Virgin births, blood sacrifices, talking donkeys, genocide, infanticide, slave trading, stoning non-virgins to death, stoning homosexuals to death, etc. In other words, absolute Stone Age bullshit!! Gotta love it!!

    1. Simply making assertions and calling something names proves nothing (even if your name is Einstein). I have been an agnostic and rejected this belief because I concluded that there were serious problems in the modern naturalistic approach to the world, many of which I have explained on the various posts in this blog. If you would like to prove something to me please put forth some actual arguments.

    2. Obviously Einstein had not understood the gospels and had a skewed image of God. I wonder how many so-called intellectuals have even read the sermon on the mount? I suspect someone using the term Judeo-Christian religion does not understand how the radical teachings of Jesus upended Jewish teachings.
