In a spiritual world of quick fixes and vague emotion, is it crazy to believe there is still a place for insights based on simple, basic, theological understanding. I believe it is worth exploring.

A Touch of Humor - Smoking Gun
Is this better than some of the things people jump to conclusions on regarding end time things? How can we avoid this?
However there does seem to be an unhealthy preoccupation with apocalyptic events sourced in part by Matthew 25 and Revelation. Doubtful that they would listen to other points of view.
I've heard that one too. It is chopping the logic a little to thin for my taste. I am convinced that when it does happen we will probably all be wrong about our understanding of the details, including me.

The one view they really ought to listen to is the one that says no one knows the day or the hour. But I am not holding my breath waiting for that.
