In a spiritual world of quick fixes and vague emotion, is it crazy to believe there is still a place for insights based on simple, basic, theological understanding. I believe it is worth exploring.
What do you think about the idea that each has been given a measure of faith ala Romans 12:3?
"For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith."
The context of the verse is the various ministries we are given as part of the body of Christ. I would take that verse as saying that God gives us the faith to trust Him to accomplish through us the things He wants us to do. This is a somewhat difficult verse but that is how I would understand it, at least until I get further light on the subject.
