A Touch of Humor - Confidentiality
How should we respond when people confide their secret struggles in us? How can we become the kind of person who others will confide in?
I think that transparency eventually begets transparency. If we project an image of perfection folks will not feel comfortable sharing their struggles with us. On the flip-side they will feel vulnerable if we first share our struggles with them.
I would agree. If we are not willing to be vulnerable others will not be with us. As long as we try to hide behind a fake mask it is hard to have any deep relationships.
