In a spiritual world of quick fixes and vague emotion, is it crazy to believe there is still a place for insights based on simple, basic, theological understanding. I believe it is worth exploring.

A Touch of Humor - Christmas Conundrum
What do we mean by sending cards and presents? Can it become just a meaningless habit? How do we avoid this?
Here I was hoping you would have the answers. :) Though I admit that sometimes I share C. S. Lewis' cynical attitude that the whole thing is there to keep the stores in business. (He suggested it would be more convenient just to give money to the stores as a charity.) Personally I favor limiting the exchange to family and close friends.
I need answers to these questions. :)
