In a spiritual world of quick fixes and vague emotion, is it crazy to believe there is still a place for insights based on simple, basic, theological understanding. I believe it is worth exploring.

A Touch of Humor -Discrimination
How can we avoid divisions in a congregation? How can we deal with them when they occur?
I did not intend to limit it to one type. There seems to be a number of types that exist, that range from divisions over (often minor) doctrinal issues, divisions between ages and ethnic backgrounds, to petty squabbles over how to paint the sanctuary. There may be some of these that are justifiable, but many seem to be just over trivia.
Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. -Philippians 2:3-4
What kind of divisions are you thinking about Mike?

DeleteSeems like this verse would help a lot:

That's an answer I can fully agree with.
