A Touch of Humor - Reboot
How do we decide between those that have opposite opinions on the same subject? What are the causes of this problem?
In my experience it is related to a person's life experiences and their approach to life. Are they prone to see things in black and white terminology or are they grayer in their persectives.
My own perspective is that I see ultimate reality (the character of God as black and white. But I human beings (including leaders), human institutions and human movements as being influenced by human sinfulness and therefore gray.
I guess it depends on what one believes about the character of God? I am willing to fellowship with those who see his character differently than I do.
I have also lived long enough to know that people see other things differently than I do. If I broke fellowship with them I would have to break fellowship with the man that I use to be. ツ
