Love endures all things (1 Corinthians 13:7). God requires endurance, following and obeying Him in difficult situations (Hebrews 12:1; Romans 12:12: James 5:10,11). Now, again, this does not mean there is not a place to try to settle difficult problems (Matthew 18:15-17; 1 Corinthians 6:5; Galatians 6:1). But not all problems are solvable. Sometimes it can be a difficult decision to decide what situations to try to solve and what situations to endure. But it should be based on what is the right thing to do, rather than what I am willing to take. We cannot set our arbitrary limit to what we are willing to endure. For our example is the One who was willing to endure the cross for us (Hebrews 12:2; 1 Peter 2:21-25; Romans 15:3). This is not necessarily easy, and we must trust in God's work in our life to enable us to do it (2 Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 2:13; Ephesians 2:10). But it is the goal.
