Life with God involves both joy and sorrow, and neither should be totally denied.

      There are some who try to put forth the idea that if you follow God you will not have any problems and always be happy. There are others of the more stoic sort who see following God has deadly serious and have no place for real rejoicing. I believe both extremes should be rejected.
