    Not wanting to be argumentative but how do you see "the intervention of God in our lives"?

      I mean the intervention of God's forgiveness and power into the life of the individual. I see the essential issue here as what am I trusting in, my ability or God. I do not necessarily see this a direct miraculous invention though that could certainly be part of it.

    So the intervention is mainly spiritual and seen through the eyes of faith?

      While I would not preclude other types of intervention, that is the main thing I had in mind.
